Dear Church Family,
This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day. We will take a moment during our service to celebrate mothers, but we also want to recognize mothers who have lost children and children who have lost mothers.
We will be placing flowers on stage in honor of those in our church family who will be grieving this Mother’s Day. We know there are many reasons why Mother’s Day might be hard- a miscarriage, the death of a child, adoption or foster care, infertility, singleness, the loss of a mother or grandmother who raised you, or just a painful relationship with a mother or a child. Whatever burden you are carrying this Mother’s Day, we would like to carry it with you as a church family.
If you reply to this email, we will put a flower on stage for you as a visible reminder that we grieve together in hope.
