"…to the praise of the glory of His grace…" Ephesians 1:6

Sunday Information and Prayer 9-12

Dear Springs of Grace Church Family,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I have been praying for each of you this week that you would abide in Jesus as you abide in His Word and abide in His love. What a thrill to know that we are connected to the vine and literally have the power of God inside of us and for us.

Thank you for your prayers for my daughters (Amy and Aaliyah). They are improved. Both have been fever free most of this week and Amy’s main remaining symptom is fatigue. Aaliyah continues to have fatigue, sore throat and a cough, but we are hopeful that they are both through the worst of it. The rest of family has stayed symptom free and as of today, will have completed 14 days of quarantine. We are excited to be back with you Sunday but will continue to wear masks and practice the distancing that is recommended.

I’m excited to preach again this Sunday about the implications of Jesus being the “True Vine” and His words of encouragement and challenge at the start of John 15. This passage has been a big help to me, and I trust it will be to you too. We all need to take advantage of God’s means of grace – by hearing the Word preached and being with the saints.

This Sunday, Lord willing, we will present to you several men as Elder Elect Candidates. Be praying for these men and their families.

Please pray for our church leadership as we continue to try and hear from the Lord and have His wisdom in the best ways to gather

Please consider taking some time this Saturday or Sunday to pray and/or fast for these items above.

I hope you can join us for our outdoor service this Sunday morning at 9:15. The livestream service will begin at 10:45. If you can’t make the outdoor service, join us for the livestream. You can find the link to tomorrow’s livestream service at our together in these days. We are so thankful for the way the Lord has blessed our outdoor services. Many of you have told me how beneficial and even preferred it has been for you. With the changing season, we are aware that we need to keep thinking and planning. Pray for us as we do.

Our state and city have just had one of its worst two-week periods of COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths. We know that many families, businesses and lives are being impacted. As Christians we don’t need to be afraid. The Lord has promised to be with us. He is good and faithful. The fact that we are loved by Jesus gives us a stability that those who don’t know His love are living without. So, continue to check on one another and pray for one another and let’s excel even more in love – and let the world know that we belong to Jesus by the way we love. Continue to be in pray for our youth group as we have refocused our efforts towards our neighborhood and church family and begun meeting again. Be in prayer for those planning Spring Kids as well. Please be in prayer for our missionaries – in Ukraine (Carrie and Sveta), the Philippines (Greg & Lois Lewis Family), the Middle East (Nic and Renee), Thailand (Dorothea), and the Peters family as they prepare to go to Albania. Also, be in prayer for Sergey and Nina Alekseiev in Eastern Ukraine.

Please consider taking some time this website (www.springsofgrace.church) and find other important information about the church.

If you have questions or needs, please let us know. Striving to be His church, by His grace, for His glory.

Love you very much,
Pastor Joe
