On Wednesday nights this summer we will be offering First Principles for Men and for Women. This course covers basic principles of studying the Bible for anyone who wants to grow in studying or teaching God’s Word. Participants will learn about identifying context, structure, and a book’s big ideas, and will begin to answer the question of how to make applications for yourself and others while reading and teaching. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice studying and sharing the Bible and to receive feedback. This course is specifically designed for those who want to be equipped to teach the Bible to others- one on one, in Bible study contexts, etc.
Each week we will go through a video lesson together, go over the week’s homework, and workshop the text. This is an 8 week course, and you can expect to spend time doing work each week outside of class.
