Excited to start this study through the Life of David and hoping to see Jesus more clearly and come to love Him more deeply as a result. I am benefitting in preparation from Walter Brueggemann, Eugene Peterson, Tim Keller, Robert Altar, Thabiti Anyabwile, Mika Edmondson, Ralph Dale Davis, Tim Chester, Jen Wilkins, Peter Leithart, Francesca Murphy, Beth Moore, Ruffin Snow and others whose input into my life I can’t as quickly identify with these passages. I will not always reference them – but be sure that almost nothing original comes from me. I try and preach and pray as a pastor – learning truths, seeking to apply them to my heart, and then apply them to the lives of our church family and neighborhood – being faithful to the living Word of God to feed this people in these days and to help us worship Jesus who is all we need.. I pray you will benefit and give all the glory to God.
