Very thankful for all the ways God works to get His Word to His people – especially through the foolishness of preaching. My preaching is always the result of the input of God through the Holy Spirit as I read and study the Word and hear and impacted by what others have learned. In order to be a teacher, I have to be taught. Everything I preach, by God’s grace, I aim at in my living – though always a work in progress. I need the sermons as much or more than anyone. I have been really blessed in this study of 1 Peter by commentaries by Karen Jobes, Bishop Leighton, Jen Wilkins, Edmund Clowney, as well as sermons by Tim Keller, John Piper, Thabiti Anyabwile, Brad Arnold, and others.
