I am rejoicing in the doctrine of the trinity this week in a new way. I was pondering the attributes of God [my wife, Rosa has been reading A.W. Tozer’s The Attributes of God :)] The ONE true God has existed eternally in three persons. If this were not so then many of His attributes would have had no expression. For eternity the love of God was known and expressed within the Trinity. The faithfulness of God was known and expressed within the Trinity. The One true God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We should not think that His attributes were awakened at the creation of this world but they were put on display for maximum glory through creation and most of all the gospel.

I love you triune God.
