Dear Springs of Grace family,

One more reminder to be in prayer for the special day tomorrow. I am trusting the Lord will minister His Word to us and His love through us as we come to this special day in the life of our church body.

THREE THINGS I AM ASKING YOU TO DO. (BESIDES READ THIS)

1) Be here! If at all possible, do all you can to come and be present for this commitment Sunday. Our enemy, the devil, will provide many opportunities for you to not be present. Don’t allow him to sidetrack you. I don’t doubt there may be responsibilities or providence that legitimately keeps you from attending tomorrow but I am praying that the Lord will allow all of us to gather together for this day. Join me in praying that you can be there.

2) Below you will find the commitment form you will have the opportunity to sign tomorrow. We are not to make commitments carelessly but I believe this commitment reflects the things God has specifically spoken to us from His Word. Pray through this and join me and my family in making this commitment before the Lord and each other tomorrow. Your commitment will be an encouragement to others. So pray through the paragraph attached below and come ready to join us in this commitment.

3) Pray about what the Lord would have you to give. Only give what you can give by faith and with joy and out of a willing heart. It may well be that the Lord has other things that you need to spend the money that He has given you on. The passage in Numbers 31 where the leaders of the army of Israel after God’s victory over the Midianites has impacted me. They had seen something of the wrath of God that day and knew that they had been spared by grace. They felt compelled in their hearts by love to do more than normal. That is what I am praying for my life and the life of our church. God is not short of money. Money is not the issue. Praise and faith and what God is doing in our hearts is what this is about.

**EVERYTHING IN THE OFFERING BOX THIS SUNDAY – UNLESS DESIGNATED TO THE REGULAR BUDGET OR SOMEWHERE ELSE WILL GO TO THE SUMMER MINISTRY OFFERING.

Commitment Form – Springs of Grace Bible Church

I/we _______________________________________ by God’s grace commit to make a matter of regular prayer (at least for the remainder of this calendar year) that God would bring laborers to join us in the ministry at Springs of Grace and that God would, in His mercy and sovereign wisdom, use me/us to bring at least one other family/individual over the next 9 months in whatever way the Lord might choose; and that I will, by the grace of God, seek to live to show people who Jesus is, to live by faith that heaven is my home and to be a part of this “city of refuge” (Springs of Grace) through acts of love and risks of faith in hope that the people of this city might come to know Jesus Christ as the greatest treasure and pleasure of all.
