This Sunday, October 26th, will be our annual SOG Bon Fire and Weenie Roast at the Fry Farm in Collinsville. The whole church is invited and this will be in lieu of Small Groups. We will begin around 5:00. Please bring the following items if you can and join us for a night of fun and fellowship!

Each family bring at least enough weenies and buns for their family; extras are always appreciated as we usually feed several who are not able to bring anything. In addition, if your last name begins with A-M please bring at least one dessert, two would be GREAT! If your name begins with N-Z, please bring two bags of chips and two liters of pop. If you are a college student, single or just coming by your self – we really hope you can come. It would be great to bring something as well to contribute to the food. The church will provide all of the paper goods. There will be chili, condiments, cheese, and onions for the hot dogs. If you’d like to bring marshmallows or the ingredients for s’mores, we will gather up some sticks to roast the marshmallows.

Also, bring chairs to sit on, as there will only be some hay bales and they’re not too comfy. I don’t think it will be particularly cold in the evening, but jackets might be needed. If you bring any of the kids from church (yours or someone else’s) with you, please be responsible to keep an eye on them. The bathrooms may be used up at the house, but the event is at the bonfire, so we appreciate people staying in that area and not hanging out in the house.

There will be at least two hayrides. We need adults to be willing to go on the hayrides to keep an eye on all of the children that come with and without parents.
