"…to the praise of the glory of His grace…" Ephesians 1:6

PRAYER EMPHASIS – PRAYING FOR PEOPLE

Please pray for the following groups of people today at Springs of Grace:

Pray for parents with younger children:

    – for wisdom, patience, love, strength to disciple/discipline and train our kid
    – for grace to give grace and truth to children
    – for strength on top of life’s demands to constantly pour ourselves out for children
    – for trust in God to believe His promises
    – for grace to parent with the long term view of the salvation of their children
    – for knowledge in how to deal with tantrums and strong willed children.
    – for grace to work at having strong love for our spouses which models so much for our children
    – for grace in communication with our spouses and our children
    – for faith to believe God can use the small things of life for His glory
    – for grace to not believe the lies of the slanderer and time and discipline to be in God’s Word
    – for grace and faith to believe and glory in the cross and our acceptance in Christ

    Pray for college students

– Pray that students would not neglect the reading and studying of God’s Word in the midst of the demands to read and study for their classes.
– Pray that students would leverage their influence for the kingdom with the people closest to them. Almost every college student that comes to Springs from TU is on a sports team or in a sorority/fraternity.
– Pray for the students in the various ministries on campus that are living shallow or hypocritical lives that shame the gospel
– Pray that college students in our church would not fall into this and would be bold to confront this reality with God-centered love and truth.
– Pray that students would study, embrace, and share the radical, biblical gospel.
– Pray that students would grow in their love for the church and involvement in the church.
– Pray that students would resist the various opportunities and temptations to waste their time at college.
– Pray that TU students in our church would seek out and form relationships with members of the huge international community on campus.
– Pray that God would empower us by His Spirit to stand firm in the faith in the midst of a Godless culture imposed by other students but also professors
– Pray that we would be unashamed of the True gospel of Jesus to those around us and we would not waste the many opportunities God gives while daily in the midst of unbelievers
– Pray that we would manage our busy schedules in such a way where spending time in prayer and the reading of the Bible would be absolute priorities.
