Human Trafficking Defined – Recruiting, abduction, facilitating, transferring, harboring, or transporting a person, by threat or use of coercion, fraud or deception or by the purchase, sale, trade, transfer or receipt of a person, for the purpose of subjecting that person to involuntary servitude, peonage, slavery, slave-like practices, sex trafficking, or forced or bonded labor services.

This is MODERN DAY SLAVERY

There are approximately 27 Million Slaves around the world. This is more slaves than ever before

Human Trafficking and Forced Prostitution grosses more than $32 Billion Dollars a year. That’s approximately $87 Million per day.

“Human trafficking is tied with illegal arms industry as the second largest international criminal industry in the world and it is the fastest growing.” (US Department of Health and Human Services)

The majority of victims are between 18 and 24. But the average age of a victim of human trafficking is just 12 years old.

As many as 17,500 people are trafficked into the United States annually.

98% of victims of sexual exploitation are women and girls.

Pray – for the young girls in our city and around the world that are victims of

Pray – that they would be rescued and put in safe houses with people that will genuinely love them and love God

Pray – that these girls and boys will see the light of Jesus and cry out to Him

Pray – that the johns and traffickers would see who Jesus is as well and that He would change their hearts and save them.
